Beth R. Lye, a non-profit professional with 9 years experience, is currently managing the volunteer program at WINGS Program in Chicago’s suburbs. In this position she has raised the status of the volunteer program from a forgotten corner of a satellite office to a key feature of WINGS’s strategic plan for the future. The program currently works with over 300 volunteers who work in positions scattered throughout the agency. Most recently, the program was awarded the 2013 Hands-On Suburban Chicago Impact Award: Volunteer Program of the Year. Previously, she taught English to adults in Chicago, Africa, and Japan. She has a Master’s Degree in Education from DePaul University. She currently resides in Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, with her loving husband their 4 year old daughter.

Attendees should park in parking lot Fawell C and come in the north entrance of the Student Services Center. Upon walking in the main doors, the room is on your left. For those who are familiar with the space, it is in the same general area as Starbucks. There are no classes that day so parking should be relatively easy.
