Part I - Welcome our special guest speaker, Mark Doyle, Program Director and Assistant Professor, MS on Human Services Management/Leadership Program at National Louis University.  Mark is well-known and well-experienced in the nonprofit community and will share with details of an exciting new degree program underway--with a multitude of benefits for those in our field—he will also touch upon how the University stands ready to help DAVA move forward with plans.

Part II – Scholarship Discussion.  Be on hand for DAVA’s announcement of plans to establish a scholarship and roll out it out in 2021 for DAVA members seeking to pursue advanced learning in human services, volunteerism, leadership, and nonprofit management.  Many churches and organizations offer scholarships for members, usually to help them to begin their college education.  We are creating this create this scholarship not only to help those who are starting college, but for experienced members who may wish to advance their education and careers.  While this is a noble goal, it is something that will take a bit of time and planning. Learn more about our preliminary plans and how members can get involved.
