Service Project- October 23, 2013

  • If you are a current DAVA member in good standing, there is no charge to attend monthly meetings. Each guest you choose to bring will be charged $5.
  • If you are not currently a member of DAVA but would like to attend one of our monthly sessions, please register. All guests are charged a $5 fee. However, if you choose to join DAVA within two months of attending, that fee will be applied toward your membership costs.

October 23, 2013--SERVICE PROJECT CANCELLED--meeting in its place

Unfortunately, after discussions with staff from the forest preserve, we have decided to cancel our service project for tomorrow, 10/23.  However, the district has been kind enough to offer us indoor space to hold a DAVA Meeting in place of the project.  We will still meet in the parking lot at 8:30am as noted in the original Event details, but will walk together to the reserved space (about five minutes along a paved path). Refreshments will be available. The topic of our meeting will be:

 "Plan B: What to do when you have to cancel an event or project"

It will be an open discussion among attendees to talk about what has happened in your organizations and how you worked around such situations. We hope to see you there!
