DAVA PUBLIC STATEMENT AGAINST RACISM:
Tolerating Racism IS Racism and it will have no place within our organization.
We recognize that the force of systemic and institutionalized racism, stereotyping, micro-aggressions, prejudice and bias can often undermine good efforts and present challenges to organizations, recruitment, and teamwork. These attitudes can affect decisions and interactions within organizations--but there is no place for within DAVA. Not within our policies... Not within our communication... Not within our membership.
DAVA will continue to cultivate a diverse, multicultural, and inclusive membership; and create an environment where all members--regardless of race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin or disabilities--know they are valued. DAVA will support peaceful protests as part of everyone’s Constitutional right.
